Hello,
I’m Bruna Nolasco

Product and UX/UI designer with an engineering background, focused on turning complex systems into clear, usable products. Working across the full product process: research, UX, interface, and design systems and collaborating with engineers, stakeholders, and leadership to ship experiences that scale.
Currently the product designer behind DataOpus, a database-resiliency platform leading the redesign of a dense legacy tool into a live cloud SaaS. I designed the end-to-end experience: user flows, a severity-based information system, a reusable component library, and a three-tier product model, shipped to production with the CEO and engineering team.

A lit bit about me

My path to design didn't start in design. Since my teens I've been drawing up technical projects, first as a building-construction technician and then at an engineering office, long before I studied mechatronics engineering. Somewhere along the way I realized I cared more about the people using the systems than the systems themselves, so I moved into UX/UI, and later added a Master's in IT here in the U.S.

The engineering habit stuck around, though. I still read a product the way I'd read a system, thinking about what goes in, where it breaks, and what has to scale. And I love owning the whole thing, from the first idea all the way to what actually ships.
Off the clock, you'll probably find me shaping something out of air-dry clay, trying a new recipe, out on a hike, taking Liam for a walk or planning my next trip.

Say hi!

Open to full-time product design roles, good coffee, and problems that look impossible at first.
